How to Become a Copywriting Expert

Becoming a copywriting expert is a simple task - but not always easy. However, hopefully I can help you streamline the process a bit so you can get there much quicker than I did, and bring in tons of cash with your expert copywriting.
1. Read! Read! Read!
Here are a list of books from the greatest of the greats. Each was a copywriting expert, and each had a very unique style of writing expert copy.
"Tested Advertising Methods" by John Caples (some will call him the greatest copywriting expert of all time).
"The Robert Collier Letter Book" by Robert Collier. Robert Collier is perhaps my favorite copywriting expert - alongside Gary Halbert. His copywriting methods infused real personality, and friendliness. Reading one of his sales letters really feels like you're getting a letter from a friend. I can't read 2 pages of this copywriting book without gaining so much inspiration that I have to put it down and go write.
"How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. Dale Carnegie wasn't a copywriting expert, but his timeless classic will give you more knowledge into how to get people to do what you want than any other book. However, please don't read this if you're copywriting is selling something unethical or dangerous! This book is too powerful to get into the hands of someone like that.
2. Re-write Ads and Letters That Have Sold Millions
I first tried this with an ad by Gary Halbert titled "How to Collect Social Security at Any Age!". I took out my pencil, printed out a copy of the ad, and started copying it, word for word.
Then something amazing happened.
It was like I stepped into Gary Halbert's brain. I understood why he chose certain words and phrases, and put them in certain places. Suddenly I understood that ad in a way I never had.
Pick your favorite ad from your favorite copywriting expert
3. Follow Your Gut
Every copywriting expert has his or her own unique style. And all of the best write from their guts. They'll write a headline, and even if a million people told them it wouldn't work, they'd stick with it because a feeling in their gut says it's going to work.
Does it work every time? Nope!
But more times than not following your gut will bring you incredible results, and open up opportunities for you like you wouldn't believe. Sometimes you might come across something that seems like a failure at first, only to learn tremendous amounts from it and gain insights that improve every word of copy you write from there on out.
Any way, the true thing behind each of these 3 tips is action. Take action, and do it every single day. Every day do at least ONE THING to improve your copywriting, and before you know it other people will start calling you a copywriting expert, maybe befoere you even see it for yourself.
